Abercastle

This was taken last night. The little harbour at Abercastle is home to a small fleet of local inshore boats but the cottages that are at the head of the haven are largely used as holiday homes. However being in the National Park the character of this little port is protected from developement. That of course is the dilemma the existing properties are very expensive and well beyond the pocket of most locals and the affordable housing that is needed cannot be built because of the park restriction. However it's a beautiful place to take a sunset when the sun is sinking at just the right angle.
