I had a small cardinal show today, down by the river. First the female flew into the pergola briefly to pickup a butterfly (extras) and then this bright red male visited our dock. I was able to get a few photos of him with my panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ200 and created a short animation of his poses with Google Photos. I love these birds and listen to them banter back & forth every morning on the lanai, sipping coffee. The cats perk their ears up too. Thank goodness for the screening!
