Out In The Cold

It's a long time since I've got this cold getting a blip. The wind was icy as I stood in thin trousers, t-shirt and fleece. It one point I got out the 12" square cleaning cloth from my camera bag to see if there were any bits of me it could keep warm.

No difference!

So, I stood and clicked, I got back in the car with the remote trigger, always a good travelling companion, I got out again, clicked some more then packed the tripod up and headed for home.

Big mistake!

I had waited until the sun disappeared from view but, if I had waited a few minutes longer, I would have seen and recorded the sky and clouds turning a deep pink.

To late to get back to the viewpoint.
