Progress hits Codsall

It's really noticeable in towns and cities how cranes herald redevelopment. I must admit to being surprised when this crane appeared in the small village of Codsall, where I work. It sits within a building site soon to be occupied by retirement apartments.

I was walking by and asked why they'd brought in a crane for such a low rise development. Apparently, they've worked out that using a crane is more cost effective than the alternatives and also saves construction time.
