The view from the villa

We are here. My son, girlfriend, and I have arrived in southern France. My good friends Caroline and Roy booked the villa.

This is the view across the swimming pool at night.

It's lovely to see Caroline and Roy. We have been friends for about 25 years. We met when my daughter and their son were at nursery together. Caroline and I were always the last mums to collect our children. And that is where our friendship started.

There have been many tears. Another tick in the box of achiements
