What a day!!! Exhausted...

Up and out the door by 5 am, on the roadbike downtown Toronto with 10,000 other cyclists. It was the annual Becel Heart & Stroke fundraiser and they closed a freeway off for us to ride (Don Valley Parkway). Another 8,000 ran or walked and over $6 M was raised. It was miserable only for the 3 hrs everyone was on the road. Driving cold rain and wind. We lost feeling in our hands & feet, i have never been so cold. Home by noon and the Toulmin clan arrived for a lengthy visit. A new wife, new girlfriend and 18 month old great nephew have joined our group. Our 2 mid 40's nephews (1st cousins) had not seen eachother since our wedding 32 years ago! We had no idea it had been that long and were very happy to have coordinated and hosted this joyous reunion! I collapsed into bed at 9:30 utterly happy and exhausted.
