Please - use your vote

I'm sure there will be many variations on this blip today.

Since 2014 there's been:

The independence referendum
The 2015 Westminster election
The EU referendum
The 2016 Hoyrood election
Local authority elections
... And now today

Additionally I've taken a close interest in elections in the Netherlands and France, not to mention the US Presidental election.

There have been results bringing a modicum of hope and others bringing despair.

Whatever your political persuasion - if you're eligible to vote today please, please do. Even if you feel your vote doesn't count (and don't get me started on first past the post...) use it anyway. Don't let the rain, the biased media or feelings of hopelessness put you off. Go and cast your vote. Please.
