Bottles up

None stop today. From bottling this year's batch of Elderflower champagne (today's blip) to the annual sorting out of the garden watering system, to repairing a gate, going to the allotment, podding piles of legumes, going for a walk, enjoying a drink in the White Horse and subsequently getting soaked by a heavy shower on the way home and going to bed as the Exit Polls were showing something dramatic could be happening. Oh, and I wrote a report as a result of yesterday's meeting.

In addition to the beans and peas we had the first strawberries of the year from the new bed. Very good they were too. It was a mad 90 minutes of planting out and harvesting. We're away next week on the Kennet and Avon Canal so didn't want to leave too many pods or fruits on plants.
