Meconopsis Lingholm

This is the kind of day when you wait and hope that the rain might stop and the wind die down .... no such luck!

Jacket on, hood up, camera well protected and I ventured into the garden to find a possible blip. I have quite a number of poppies and fortunately the flowering season is fairly long so there is always a flower somewhere.

My blue poppy has no more buds but the Papaver Victoria Louise, the extra, has still one or two buds to open but today would not be a good day for the paper-like petals to emerge.
