Me, that is!
We'd had a lovely walk, finding a red kite, a cute nettle weevil, a family of greenfinches on a wire and a kestrel. The latter suddenly disappeared from my viewfinder and I looked down to spot two deer crossing the fenced pathway in front of me. This one paused for a second look before scampering off with the other one which I was pleased to discover is my little friend with the torn ear (extra) - almost a year to the day and not many days out the year before.
With one hand quick to secure Little Dog's collar (she likes deer a little too badly), I had a one-handed luck of the draw kind of shooting as I watched them leap through the fields.
