Kayaking and biking the Little Miami

Today the forecast called for sunshine and pleasant temperatures, so we thought it would be a good day to go kayaking on the Little Miami. After an early phone call, Roger took the rest of the day off and joined us. We rented a single and a double kayak, and did the 6-mile trip. It was lovely to do it on a weekday rather than the usual weekend, when there are so many more people on the river. Since we were just doing the shorter route, we didn't bother taking a picnic, but came home for lunch, then after lunch we headed back to a different section of the river to go biking on the bike trail.
