Wide Angle Wednesday - Clouds off Brean Down

We nipped off to enjoy the ridiculously hot weather, and walk the National Trust coastal walk at Brean Down. Once we climbed the endless steps up the path from the excellent little NT cafe (great coffee) it was a lovely walk of about three miles, with meadow landscape, forts from the Iron Age and from WW2 and a Roman Tempe we failed to find this time. The seascape, or at least the Bristol Channel scape, was immense, with milky seas and clouds that laid vast shadows on the water. Perhaps a good place to view this weekend's Weston Air Festival too...
