Life through the lens...

Over the bridge.

Another hot day, so haven't ventured far.
This morning though we returned to St Cosme
for a wine tasting, and to buy a few cases to bring back with us.
Decided that we needed a larger vehicle to bring back all the wine we need to take us through until next year, so you can see what we thought was the best means of transportation in my extra photo.

After a light lunch at chez nous, ( finishing with half a kilo of strawberries each) we ventured out again to have a look round some of the nearby villages.
The blip photo was taken in Mollans sur Ouveze. Where we stayed in 1991 on our first visit to the area.
The flowers on the bridge were so bright, and the sky so blue.
It is a very tiny village, and today most of it was taken over by a TV film crew.
Not sure what they were filming, but never seen so many large vans and trailers.
They were all sat under the trees having a long lunch.must have been over 50 people.
Didn't stay long, but moved on to Entrechaux.
As we parked the car, we could here the organ being played as the church door was open.
Discovered it was a loung lady having an organ lesson. It sounded beautiful.

Decided to call it a day as it was so hot, and returned "home" to have a swim to cool down.

Thank you all for your kind comments and stars for yesterday.
I think the weather has improved back in the UK and you have summer at last. Hope it continues for many weeks to come.
