Small-Eyed Sphinx Moth

My husband insisted that I come out into the yard and take a look at this beautiful bug. He thought it was a butterfly of some kind; in fact, one of the nicest he'd ever seen.

It was very placid and I got very close to it quite easily. I looked it up online and I think it is this: Paonias myops, the small-eyed sphinx moth. Since my husband was the one who discovered it, I asked him to pick the song to accompany its image on blip.

And this is what he picked (because it's a sphinx moth, right?): The Bangles, with Walk Like an Egyptian (which, by the way, is a song I've used here just once before).
