The Long Game

First flower in Codonposis grey-wilsonii 'Himal Snow' from seed sown in February 2015.  Don't think it should have taken quite this long but it's worth the wait methinks.  A plant for cool moist places .... so not here today! I grow it in a shady trough close to the house where it is climbing up a twisted willow support.

Another day of intense heat to zap the energy.  Phone calls and more phone calls without moving anything on very far.  Tonight an old friend is coming round to sit in our shade and share some food.
