California Dreaming

.... one of the numbers we sing at choir.  Not tonight though.  Tonight we worked on I'm Yours by Jason Mraz .... no I've never heard of him either :-/  We finished with One Day More from Les Mis ... which Jacinta and I have seen.  Rousing!

Todays flower is an extreme close up of Brodiaea californica which I raised from seed about 25 years ago.  Growing from a corm, it loves the dry, sandy soil here and grows nearly as well as in it's native California.
