A Swallow-tailed Moth returns

I was just preparing to go to bed, despite the continuing heat, when this beautiful moth fluttered across the screen and settled on the wall above my desk.

It was of course in the shadows, being a night time creature, so it was hard to get an illuminated picture, but I have tried.

Every year one of these  Swallow-tailed Moths turns up and settles on surfaces around the house. Occasionally they've left a wonderful set of tiny eggs joined together in a honeycomb pattern on bare wood, both in the house and in the cabin. I shall keep my eyes open as they would make a perfect Tiny Tuesday challenge image.
