Fathers' Day

Charlie has landed a social work job, which means her time at the Fallow Café is drawing to a close, so I thought that for Fathers' Day we'd go there for lunch. Izzy is in London and Milly is in the Perhentians, so I wasn't expecting them but otherwise it was a full house: Dan and Abi, Charlie, Hannah, and the miniMinx (plus the Minx herself).

Charlie had reserved the terrace upstairs for us, which was perfect for such a sunny day, although we all sat in the shade apart from Dan. I'd have preferred a photo of all the kids but the consensus was that it was too hot and no one felt they were looking their best.

But the food (and beer) was great and it was lovely to sit and chat with the kids, of course. It's on days like this when I wish we had more consistent summers!
