Poppy and Insects

Today I went to Ware with my daughter and granddaughter. Victoria had been invited to a lunchtime social gathering, to meet some of the team, with whom she will be working, when she starts her apprenticeship in September. She normally drives herself to these events, but as she is currently unable to drive her mum took her. I went along to keep my daughter company, as the event was for two hours.
 
We found a nice place, by the river for lunch and then walked around the town, before having another coffee and collecting her.

I took today’s picture before I went out of another Poppy, which this year has appeared in one of our borders; it has the added bonus of two insects.
