Here's the MV Finlaggan reversing into Port Ellen, after literally turning around on a six pence. This is our first journey in or out of Islay on the Finlaggan, and it's certainly pretty swanky.

Last night the festival went out with a bang with tunes led by the inestimable Colin Steele. And that's my link for today, which is actually my birthday (at least according to Facebook) although we celebrated it yesterday.
