Another warm day in the garden, and the butterflies are getting more plentiful.  The photos shown are     Top Left - Inchworm hanging on a thread from the Hazel Branches above me. It gradually worked it's way from eye level up to the leaves above, a journey of about 3 metres. Along way for this little guy, which as you can guess is one inch long.(2.5 cm)

Top Middle  -   The Bank Vole which is, day by day, getting more confident, and was about 6 feet away.

Top Right - Small White, a common butterfly for us, at this time of year, and this one seemed to take a distinct liking to the lavender.

Bottom -  Hazel Leaves. We have many of these bushes in various parts of the garden, and come the Autumn the Squirrels enjoy the nuts.
Although I call them Hazel Nuts, they may well be the cultivated version known as Cob Nuts.
