Packing up and going home

Simone was off on her chopper to Bristol about 10 then Sally and I went for a walk, I'm really glad we did, the Pyramid field was already clear, it was a pleasure wandering around with so much space, we saw Lou and Malcom at Silver Hayes to say goodbye and had a pizza and an ice cream, we met a couple with a baby struggling along with all their belongings.

We met a man from Cardiff who was 'tatting', so many tents and chairs etc ar abandoned every year, this guy was on cardboard recycling but makes a bit of money by selling on tents he finds, it's a criminal waste otherwise.

Our flight was very pleasant, clear skies and great views, we even saw Downton Abbey! I sat in the front with Rachael, we had a great view of the festival as we flew out... goodbye Glastonbury for at least 2 years!

Sally's son Asa was there to take her home, lovely to see him, then the 4 of us jumped in an uber.... tired but happy.

Great to see the family again! Gulli has had a great time at his friend a Louis' house.
