Mini Fail

The mini adventure continued today with a trip to Lewisham in South East London, ooOooh! We actually went to pick up an eBay purchase (bargain Mamas and Papas Moses basket and stand still in its bag- £25! £100 cheaper!) but thought seeing as we're on the other side of London we should take the opportunity to explore the borough.

A quick Google later and we found the Londonist's 10 things to do in Lewisham article saying that as of 2010 Lewisham was the proud host of the UK's one and only indoor Swedish Felt mini golf course! That held the World Championships! And PeterSamuelQ loved it when he visited last month! With all of those exclamation points, it had to be good.

So imagine Rob's disappointment when after 15 minutes driving up and down the road it was supposed to be on all we found was an empty building, a For Sale sign and a load of abandoned putters! Hence the sad face :(

We were then going to stop in Greenwich but felt a little bitter and adventured-out so headed home albeit past the Queen's House, past the sign for the Cutty Sark (caught a glimpse of the sail in the rear view), past the 02 and finally past the Olympic arena in Stratford. That must class as culture surely?
