Rebuilding

Friday 30th June 2017

And so we're round to Friday again - time really must have speeded up lately. I can hardly believe we're halfway through 2017!

Mum and I took her friend Hazel out for a coffee this morning. This meant we had toasted tea cakes with our hot drinks, so that's my diet up the creek again today. Lunch at Sainsbury's and then home to fall asleep on the sofa. So many things to do, and today so little inclination to do any of them. Determined to get up and get straight on with ploughing through some of the To Do list tomorrow, as we have no plans for going out at the moment. Today has been a terrible day for Mum with her pain - even four Tramadol capsules and a maximum dose of paracetamol to go with it have done nothing. Awful to have to stand by helplessly and see her in agony.

We have a little patch of the garden for planting miniature roses that people have given us, and this pure yellow one is tiny and perfect today - only six inches off the ground. The rambling roses over the archway are nearing the end of their best, so I've put a snap of them in Extras.
