Ring of fire

It's a grey rainy day today, but I suddenly noticed that the first of my sunflowers is in bloom. I had no idea it would be a dark one, I don't think I've ever seen one like this before. See the extra to see how the petals end. Of course there is a wayward petal refusing to bend for now :-)
