Serene On Top.....

 I think we all feel a bit like that at times.  Stopped at Stubbers Green Pool this afternoon.  I parked, and just as I was getting out of the car at least a dozen Canada Geese came across the road to the pool on the other side.  By the time I had got my camera from the boot they had all crossed.  However there was lots of activity on the water (see extra).  Lots of a duck I had not seen there before, not sure what they are, but they were in various shades of speckled brown.  The nearest I can get to an identification is a Gadwall, probably wrong, so if anyone knows I would be grateful.  Of course it could just be a hybrid Mallard and I am getting excited for nothing.
