An ordinary life....

A Monumental Monument...

The main task of today was to take Alan's car to a garage in Stirling to have a tiny fault looked at.  The plan was I would follow David there in the Audi then we would head somewhere for lunch, go for a drive then return to pick up Alan's car.

I got to the garage about 10 minutes after David and the fault was fixed!   We decided to re-visit the days when we were first married (almost 28 years ago!!!) and head to Pirnhall Inn for lunch since we were in the vicinity.  A tasty lunch was had and very reasonably priced too.

We left Alan's car in their car park and went for a drive to the Wallace Monument.   This is as close as I will get to it as there's no way I will ever be able to climb to the top.  The car park was mobbed and lots of coaches from abroad.  Good to see.   I liked the colour shot best but David (unusually) preferred the mono so I went with that.

We went to Muircroft Farm Shop for coffee then headed back to pick up the car and head home.

Have spent the evening doing boring household stuff but tomorrow's Friday and weekend fun shall begin starting with lunch out with Ele tomorrow then LeeAnne and Dr T will arrive on Saturday.  They are staying till Monday and we are having lunch at Gleneagles on Sunday.    Looking forward to it all :-))
