Horseshoe island

Well today we had the treat of visiting friends on nearby Horseshoe island. That is the beauty you see here, this photo was taken from the porch. Fran & Dave were going to pick us up in their boat, but Steve got Buzzy, the family's 14 ft boat, working. After a couple of years of not being started, it gave him some grief! ALL fixed now. We got there and back no problem :0)

Dinner was so delicious!! The company was delightful too, so Steve and I really enjoyed. Fran and Dave stayed with us in Florida back in May, when their daughter was rowing in Sarasota . . . https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2310457836632539603
I got to know them better then, Steve has known them forever! We also got to visit with Vince & his wife Diane and later, Mike dropped by; both are Fran's brothers! All such good company and friends that Steve has known a long time through his summers here. I feel lucky to have had such an enjoyable evening, and island hopping no less!!
