Kilkerran

First, there was a nice cycle way up the hill towards Newton Stewart. It was steep and covered with moss. It didn't bother us too much, because of our snail's speed going upwards. Bert wanted to go to a festival in Newton Stewart, but after we'd arrived there was no sign of it. We collected a pamphlet at the post office and picked out two performances which sounded interesting. We only had to wait for it to start in two hours.
After having coffee we were right on time and to our disappointment, a band of six members started playing. We waited for a while and then decided to continue our journey.

As we climbed up the hills of Galloway Forest Park we forgot about our disappointment of this morning immediately. We were surprised by the stunning views, the few cars and the fox we saw crossing the road, looking at us.
At the end of the Galloway Forest Park, we've found a friendly campsite.
Tonight there is an evening with bingo and dancing. We promised to come.
