Winter calm

Shot this morning on the outskirts of the village, looking back towards Little Mount Peel across this little pond, a favourite for a few local pukeko.

As I wrote winter is making itself felt, with cold sleety showers and snow bringing a chill to our hillside. I have a feeling we're going to wake up to a bit more snow than what's on the lawn at the moment...
