Evening light . . .

Mike has had Peridot anchored below the house most of the day while he did some work on her.  Instead of one yachtsman for lunch, I ended up with two!  Anthony has been anchored in the bay for a couple of days and Mike invited him ashore for lunch.  Mike also managed to offload some boaty bits and pieces on him, including a pair of oars! 

Meanwhile, Ollie and I went visit a part time resident of the village and her huge Spanish mastiff, Barney.  Thankfully he is a gentle giant and the pair of them got on really well - see extra!  His owner and I sat in the sun and discussed knitting and crocheting and the size of our wool stash!

Just after 9pm Mike took Peridot back to her mooring.  A lovely evening light, the perfect end to another hot, sunny day.
