I won't make a habit of attending mid-week fixtures on three consecutive evenings, but the opportunity presented itself this week, all within three or four miles of home.
Tonight's match was at Campion AFC, who like Monday night's Eccleshill United are to be found in the NCEL Division One and are based in Manningham, tucked in under the chimney of Lister Mills. They were hosting Ossett Albion, who are two steps up in the NPL D1 North.
It was another high scoring game, with Ossett winning by the odd goal in seven. The late evening sky added to the drama.
That's it for football now - at least until Saturday.
