Coffee Potter's Car

Back-blipped on Thursday 13th
Long old day. I was awake again for much of the night, coughing, but surprisingly felt not too bad when the alarm went off, so went off to work from 8:30 until 5. At work I managed to get loads done, including the quarterly VAT return. At 5pm I left the office, drove home and got changed while C packed the car. We left at 5:50 and I drove down to Devon (C still is trying to get his catarct op sorted but the hospital had mislaid his records). We paused for about 15 minutes in Axminster to buy some fish and chips, which we wrapped in some towels to keep warm. We arrrived at our caravan at about 8:40. The site have been storing it for us so they had moved it to a lovely pitch, ready for our arrival. We just had to put the van's feet down, and plug in the electrics and the water, then C took the boys for a short walk while I unpacked the car and put some plates on to warm. When he returned we opened the pack of cod and chips - it was without a doubt the two largest pieces of cod that either of us have ever seen. It was absolutely delicious, but we both managed to eat only a little more than half of each fish, and a few chips. We stripped the batter off the remaining fish and put it in a box in the fridge for the boys to have with their breakfast tomorrow. We sat and talked for a bit and then went to bed, both of us pretty exhausted. As this has been back-blipped I can tell you that I had the best sleep that I've had for days.
This little car is in the children's play area. The sunset was stunning but we were too busy eating to be able to take any photos of it.
