ShirleyRay ~ Star Flower

 So my little twist on the twist...my flower starts and ends with the two initials of my name. The official name is Pentas Ianceolata. They come in a variety of colors and can withstand the dry heat we get here.

This was taken this morning after the watering was done. We have not seen any rain for quite some time, but the monsoon season is upon us, so we will be getting those rains that cause flash flooding in the next few months.

I am grateful to be able to wander out on my own, even if it is for short periods of time. It is such a feeling of freedom.
