Leaf on Decking

Now back home, it's a certain important person's birthday today so I was attentive and making sure she had an enjoyable day.  Lunch at the first pub we ever went out for a date, then a pleasurable evening together.

As such photographic endeavours took a back foot, but I did notice this ivy leaf on the newly painted decking.  Loved the contrast in the sunshine.  I'd got the 50mm f1.4 lens on the camera and have always admired the photography of another blipper who uses shallow depth of field in this abstract sort of way.  On reviewing the image on the computer, I could have perhaps benefitted from a little more depth of field!
