Titled Taxis

Today was the Annual Service at St Gordian's Cross, high on a hillside close to the top of Manor Valley.   The story of this tradition I told last year.   The St Gordian's Cross Service

Got a lift up the last stony track from John on his quad bike.   John was dubbed Sir John by Her Majesty the Queen ten days ago.   For services to farming.   He and his wife, Cathy, started with a dozen hens.   Today his company produces 1.4 million eggs every day!   Across five farms.

Not every day one gets a lift from a Knight - and certainly not on a quad bike!
