We went the ten miles or so South to Southend then followed the road round past Dunaverty beach and Kiel to Carskey Bay. There were quite few seals out on the rather seaweedy rocks. Low tide.

At Carskey we walked along to the far end and came back again.
There were lots of diving Gannets, one of two Ringed Plovers, and some gulls.
The occasional yacht made its way along the horizon.

There were no eggs on display at Little farm's roadside stand.

F1 on the telly from Silverstone.
Later Apothecary7 was making some sketches prior to beginning a new painting.
BBC radio 2 was accompanying the drawing.
