Evening at the College of the Holy Spirit

Everyone has gone. The group who were in residence since Friday left after lunch. They seemed grateful for all they had found here - even the stand-in wardens. The audience for the lovely concert in the cathedral have gone home. The staff are off duty, home with their families. The rabbits are all over the grounds. The sky is clear. The cathedral and college wait for the next pilgrim group.

And they will be my friends. My companions on s new retreat, a new journey. But that will be tomorrow. Tonight we are alone.
