Golden Postbox

Have to confess I hadn't realised that golden post boxes were still around.  This is in honour of paralympian Ellie Simmonds OBE and is in the High Street in Aldridge.

We'd just had a curry with family in a local restaurant and walked out to the sky on fire.  I knew I wouldn't make it to a decent location to capture the sky, so used the camera phone instead.  A much more sobering view could be seen in the other direction, where a tribute of several bunches of flowers has been formed to remember a young man who was stabbed and died last month.
