A walk on the wild side!

Sunday 16th July 2017                (backblip)

We got the jobs done this morning ..... then called at Mum's for an hour.

Thankfully by then the rain had stopped & the sun had come out ...... so we headed out for a walk!

Went to RSPB Frampton Marsh ........ as we walked along the reed beds all we could hear was Sedge Warblers ...... they were everywhere ...... we also saw & heard a Skylark ....... saw Bar-tailed Godwit, Lapwing, Heron, Shelduck, Little Egret, a family of Coots, Avocet, Whitethroat, Linnet & butterflies :-)

So difficult to decide what to blip ..... finally whittled it down to these 4

Top L:    Gatekeeper butterfly
Top R:    Sedge Warbler with an insect in its beak
Bottom L: Avocet having a sleep
Bottom R: Whitethroat singing

Do hope you like my selection :-)
