Animals

We had another great Blipmeet with Hildasrose and Rob, Chantler63, ( and John)Terrifo, Suejay  and StevenG, at the footpath adjacent to Stratford racecourse , where it's possible to see the horses going over the jumps at quite close quarters.
Half way through the afternoon we had to go and meet our daughter. They were on their way to Dover for a ferry tomorrow and we are taking care of our Grand dog Bess for a couple of weeks whilst they are away. I have told the story of Bess before.

After a few more photos and a cream tea with the other blippers , we got a phone call to say that one of our neighbours was a bit worried about our cat.
When we got home we found out that Buffy the cat had died , quite peacefully it seems, lying in the sun on the front drive. She was quite old and not very well so that seems a good way to go really. We have buried her under the tree where she used to wait and try to catch birds . At least the birds will be a bit safer now .
