Today was the day I finally got round to visiting the Tim Horton's outlet in Glasgow city centre.

I had been intending to visit the Canadian coffee chain's first UK outlet since it opened in the city a few weeks ago, but had never managed it until this afternoon.

As well as a cup of their excellent coffee, I treated myself to a 'Canada 150' do'nut - sprinkled with red & white (the colours of the Canadian flag) 'hundreds and thousands' - designed to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Canada's founding in 1867. Yum!
