Several years ago, every neighborhood in town which was approached, rejected the idea of the construction of a Verizon cell tower.  Reception here was very sketchy at the time and a tower was really necessary.  The compromise was to locate it in a slightly more commercial area and disguise it as a palm tree.  Pretty clever.
