Like the sign says

To celebrate our 125th Park Anniversary last year, we got a grant from Mitcham Council to install 2 new interpretative signs, and this is one of them.  They were only installed last week.

We are going to get the Mayor to do an unveiling as soon as our Treasurer gets back from overseas.  She was the main driving force behind it all, and it wouldn't be fair to go ahead without her here.
