Sizzle

Another gorgeous day. We collected our little Fiat 500 hire car and set off to Pula for a little wander then on to see Roman remains at Nora but parking areas rammed so we carried on south to Chia and, despite being busy (we'd forgotten it was Saturday) we enjoyed a couple of hours in the crystal clear water (extra) and people watching on the sand.
Back to Nora where we parked but thwarted again in seeing remains as you can only go with a tour and we didn't have long enough. Grr...another day perhaps. Back to Pula and headed for Su Furriadroxu, a restaurant we'd read about. I'd never tried suckling pig before, but it was the thing to eat here, simply spit roasted. We overordered but everything was delicious....especially the pork and the Culurgiones (little Sardinian dumplings/ravioli filled with potato, pecorino and mint).
Felt like we got a bit lost on the way home which was a bit alarming as petrol was running low, but home in the end... very full!
