I don't need roads

Museum with a view

9 miles walked today. Im super glad they had escalators on the way up to the art museum all those step in 29 degree heat would have been bad times. We needed a beer halfway up anyways, can't imagine steps.
Found out it was free entry after 3pm so we wandered and found the Olympic stadium where we sat with our feet in the fountain and took in the view, much needed in such heat.
The museum itself had loads of exhibitions but we opted for the modern art ones because neither of us are really into the old renaissance type stuff. Feasted our peepers on a Picasso and lots more cool art, but seemingly modern means mainly nude paintings, some great powerful propaganda posters and the art nouveaux stuff which I love.
The view from the top was spectacular, looking out over the city (cover pic).
Once done we found ourselves in the converted bullring that's now a shopping centre and cinema, the whole thing smelled like popcorn.
Cool view from the top though and nice to see how they'd kept the main structure of the ring. Hard to imagine watching bull fighting back in the day with the museum as a backdrop.
Back to the AirBnB for a rest and a beer and then out for some really tasty vegan noms and a wander around the older part of Barcelona soaking up the Saturday night atmosphere. On the metro home a man provided us with a hip hop soundtrack which was ace.
Another great day again Barcelona, let's see what you got tomorrow.
