Tending The Garden

Sometimes it's necessary to check on your plants.

It's no trivial matter having such a big garden. I thought I'd better check in on the plants this afternoon, in between some very heavy showers. The heather is coming along quite nicely at the moment and is in shape to soon put on a great display. I'm almost thankful for the recent rain. All those trips out with the watering can have been taking a toll on my knees! And don't get me started on the weeding!!
