A rather less exciting evening than yesterday, although we both enjoyed just chilling.

Rather annoying though I've just opened the washing machine at the end of a cycle to wafts of smoke and distinct smell of burning... now unplugged and starting to look for replacement. Evidence that the warnings of never put your washing machine on when you are in bed or out is wise advice. Given this is our second very minor fire incident with appliances, I might start complying!
