Shock

The car had it's first MOT today... where has that three years gone?!  While it was in the garage I had my eyes tested, and it's a good thing I did because it seems that I have the very beginnings of a cataract in my left eye.  The only thing I can do is to protect my eyes from the sun, so sunglasses will have to be worn more often now and hopefully the cataract will be slow to develop.  I don't suppose six years in Spain helped...   and it seems that I now need to wear glasses to drive...  It's all been a bit of a shock!
