Sunset at Carles ('Car-less'), Iloilo, The Phil

After our long day's journey into (yesterday) evening, we decided to do almost nothing today, except for a short walk along the beach, during which hubby discovered, by way of elimination and dear-Watson deduction, that some fishermen use dynamite to catch their fish.  Ugh.

It's a very basic resort.  In short, no luxury.  In short, in true Dutch fashion, dirt cheap!  Hubby got to know the owner online (no idea what website they were both on, but never mind) and convinced me to try out her place.  I have to get used to the toilet and shower room, but that shouldn't be difficult.  What I don't mind at all is the fact that there's no air-conditioning.  What I might mind is the fact that if we have nothing to do, there's really nothing to do ... haha!  In short, some creativity should enter the picture soon, and it will depend solely on us.

Not to worry.  There's a boat ride scheduled for tomorrow.

Another sunset shot in the extra, taken just a few minutes before this one.
